Evan Simko-Bednarski is a writer, editor and producer based in Brooklyn, New York. He has written for The Battery Park City Broadsheet and MainStreet.com, as well as written and edited copy for national non-profit organizations. He is a co-founder and managing editor of Armchair/Shotgun, a Brooklyn-based literary journal.
Evan was instrumental in the 2009 reboot of Sam Seder’s Majority Report, and has produced audio and video for The Young Turks webcast. He worked in all areas of non-profit radio production and management as Station Manager at WESU-FM Middletown from 2005-2007, where he also wrote radio dramas for “Waterpipe Theater.” He graduated from Wesleyan University in 2007 with a BA in Philosophy and Government Theory.
A native of Hudson County, New Jersey, Evan is also an avid cyclist, a performing guitarist with the band Otsego and a hobbyist auto mechanic.
